Alacra Wiki Today we are launching the Alacra Wiki. Over the last several months, we have assembled a collection of information on the people, companies, publishers and databases that drive the business information market . We are eager to continually update and enhance this data, and we are counting on contributions from the industry to help make it a more complete and comprehensive resource . Our view is that the market for premium business information is expanding rapidly and that the Alacra Wiki can provide a destination for people trying to learn more about business and financial content.

Much of the information currently found in the Wiki has been gathered from the Web. If you have something new to add, or want your bio included, feel free to register and submit your content. One unique set of content Alacra has provided includes our Industry Spotlights, which are detailed reviews and commentary on the best web-based sources of industry specific information that were previously only available to Alacra customers. These reviews are researched and written by Alacra Web Editors who are all accredited information professionals. Please feel free to set up a link to the Alacra Wiki for your staff or users of your firm’s intranet or portal.

Our goal is to create the authoritative guide to business and financial information and to the players that help shape the industry. This newest addition to the Alacra suite follows the recent beta release of the Alacra Store, an e-commerce site which quickly links business professionals to many of Alacra’s premium databases.
