From the lead editorial in today’s Financial Times:

“Given his record of unveiling changes and then waiting to see whether enough people protest, it would be advisable for European and US data regulators to watch him closely.” 

I don’t disagree that Zuckerberg needs to be watched but the FT is portraying Facebook’s strategy as analogous to Hitler, or any other dictator.  This is probably not a value-maximizing strategy for Facebook.  But, unlike citizens under a tyrannical regime, Facebook users can walk if they believe they’re being abused.
